
Kurt’s project versatility and broad construction experience make him the perfect selection for the unique and uncommon project. As Partner and Senior Project Manager he oversees projects from inception to completion and is adept in the pre-construction planning process. He undertakes the responsibility of estimating and project management and acts as the liaison between building owners, architects, engineers and consultants. Before joining the team, Kurt founded and/or served as president and CEO of 4 construction companies. He was the co-founder, chairman and president of ECI Environmental, Inc. and led the company through the public offering process (Amex symbol: ECI). ECI was the parent company of three subsidiaries specializing in hazardous waste, marine waste management, general construction and energy conservation. He was president of Elmhurst Development Corp. and conceived, developed and built a retirement community in Fort Mohave, Arizona. Kurt has a B.A. in History and International Relations from the University of San Diego.
Kurt is quite active in the community, working to strengthen RN Field’s visibility and local exposure. He’s a member of the Board of Trustees of the Greater San Francisco Bay Area Chapter of The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (www.LLS.org/SF) and the Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Vital Life Services in Oakland (www.vitalcalifornia.org). He enjoys golf, hiking and spending time with his wife and two grown children.
