One of the hallmarks of Bruce’s style is to be constantly aware of everyone’s roll on the project and insist they are all following the vision that went into the planning of the project. Bruce’s eye for organization ensures that everyone involved on his projects is working in a logical and productive manner. He knows that an efficiently run project is also safe and conducive to achieving the highest quality attainable. Decades of experience and learning have resulted in an open mind with architects towards the implementation of their vision. As Superintendent, Bruce is responsible for coordinating sub trades and crafts, monitoring the successful realization of plans and specs, creating solutions to on-site field conditions, quality and safety control, and scheduling. His strong communication skills serve him well in working with apprentices, foremen, project managers and clients. He truly enjoys working with others.
Bruce earned an A.A. in Journalism from San Jose State and brings a perspective crafted from commercial and institution construction management and experience as journeyman tradesman. Bruce has been heard commenting that he will never retire, that he enjoys what he does too much to ever give it up. When he isn’t enjoying days off with his two daughters and wife, he tends to his landscaping and donates his time and construction skills to build houses for those in need.
