Building a foundation on unstable soil

We’ve managed a number of projects for NT Audio including audio dubbing studios, projection rooms, sound rooms and office tenant improvements. For all audio environments, attention to detail is critical. Precise measurements and wall separations are required to achieve the necessary sound isolation. During the construction of the projection rooms in Santa Monica, we discovered that the soil could not support the planned construction. We drilled 23 feet to reach soil that was solid enough to place the new footings. All the work for NT Audio has been a huge challenge but a rewarding and enjoyable experience.
